I was sharing some desires yesterday with a community member. & the response was, just ask Him. The suggestion was to write down what I desire and ask the Father.

Admittedly, I was in prayer some weeks ago & heard, just ask Me for what you want.

Apparently this must have been too simple to digest or disregarded because I received the above audio message this morning.

I've included the prayer of Jabez below:

‭1 Chronicles 4:10 NIV‬

[10] Jabez cried out to the God of Israel, “Oh, that you would bless me and enlarge my territory! Let your hand be with me, and keep me from harm so that I will be free from pain.” And God granted his request.

On this final day of April, let's close out with ASKing the Father for what we want. We're not asking amiss but according to the Lord's will who actually wants us blessed in this life. He is also a tremendous gift giver!

Sometimes...it's okay to ask 😊.

In fact, Matthew 7 says to keep asking and it will be given. Keep seeking and you will receive. Keep knocking and the door will be open to you. In other words, do not give up on the petitions to God.

Use the prayer of Jabez as an example & write down your desires from the Lord. He asked the Lord to:

  1. Be blessed

  2. For expanded territory

  3. God's hand to be upon him

  4. Protection from harm & alleviation of pain.

We have not because we ask not & do not discount your community.

In reflection, God used people in my circle to communicate His will to me.

Speaking of community, I have one. I hear a lot of adults say, "no new friends." I've known this one all my life & it works. Or relationships are too much; I'm too old to start over in this area.

This is a crux. Community indicates growth, growth begets territory and territory yields expansion.

Neither of the shared video in prior post or audio are people I speak to often, whether the insight is for a moment or more, they were necessary to receive something needed.

Do not allow age, experiences or fear to close you off from having an expansive community.

Ask

Seek

Knock

It's yours!!
