All about Jesus
First things first, Happy Birthday Jesus! I do not get into the logistics of what His actual birthdate is. We celebrate everything else, why not the KING?
"Birthday" CHALLENGE
I was influenced by my six-year-old Goddaughter with this one. She made Jesus a crown for His birthday. It made me think, I've gotten something for everyone else what can I get for the Savior besides my whole life? I settled on adopting the five love languages & doing a day (at some point this year) where I love on God by loving others (who cannot give back to me) in these love areas. I based this on 1 John 4:20. My challenge to the HERspace Blog Readers is to find a way to give Jesus a gift. I shared my gift but make your gift sacred and unique to you. Of course, if you do not know Jesus as your Lord and Savior, that would be the best gift. See the prayer below.
Prayer of Salvation
Father, please forgive me of all my sin. I believe your Son, Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins and rose from the dead, and because of this, I will enter into heaven when I die. Jesus, come into my heart and be my Lord and Savior. I willingly give You my life.
Romans 10:9-10 “That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. ”
He is doing something NEW.
I'm learning that God's words are enough. Many times we fight to know, seek, and even prayerfully ponder for more. Remember when your parents or elders rhetorically told you in the past, what did I tell you? Consider this that moment.
I heard as I began to type this blog, Behold He is doing something NEW. Today, I'm solely saying what God says. & I'm waiting in expectation of whatever the NEW thing is.
One thing I've learned about the Lord, He is a PHENOMENAL gift giver. The gift is bound to surpass anything I can ask or think.
Hands up, arms open wide, be ready to receive all the NEW God is doing in, on, and around you!
Healing hands, hugs, and conversations...
This is the slogan for my ministry that I like to remind others of around the holiday time. As you gather with family and loved ones, may every hand, hug, and conversation be filled with healing. My prayers are always with those who are absent in body from their loved ones.
Everyone have a Merry CHRISTmas! Love you all.
