Quick HERspace Blog post, this is specifically for those leading &/or in the middle of building something.
Nothing with God is ever wasted…NOTHING. Always work unto Him.
I’ve had several conversations over the course of my career with individuals who have boasted about not needing a job because they have money, retirement, a spouse, or some form of backup. OR the counter to this people feeling stuck, receive any treatment or remain in roles past due because they feel they need the money.
May I humbly submit both of these processes are in error?
I recall almost a decade ago, I was following in the way I believed God was leading me for my career. EVERYTHING personally, professionally, financially…all the things seemed to be out of order. The one clear instruction I did have was to remain where I was & build what God had given me.
One call later, I was offered a six figure position in a prior state doing something I always wanted to do. I immediately turned it down. I wish I could tell you that I was flooded with funds, support and clarity after I hung up. That didn’t happen…in fact, I felt sick lol. Here I was turning down six figures with barely any figures and a large operational budget.
How is this relevant to the verse? As the YEARS passed, I learned this:
*There is always provision in the way of the Lord. I’m not dictated by dollar amounts, high or low. I am to stick where assigned & God will provide what’s needed;
*Every door of opportunity no matter how it’s packaged is not necessarily from God. & we often are presented with “doors” that may be misleading just before dawn (i.e. breakthrough even if it’s years later);
*STRONG, “don’t move” & enthusiastic are traits & gestures to intentionally adopt from the scripture because the process often yields a desire to do the polar opposite.
I’ve heard the word “conjecture” all morning. & it is making a conclusion with incomplete information.
I am a builder & midwife. Called to leaders. I go to places where I am assigned for a set time (not a long time) determined by the Father to do what He told me. Which I often don’t share in detail until I’m leaving to avoid unnecessary interruptions (from me, others or the enemy). In other words, I handle God’s business, then I’m out & on to the next. Which is where God's Businesswoman came from.
The degrees, licenses and experiences are all keys to develop what God has assigned to my hands. It’s not meant to be a distraction. Meaning, many of us are in traditional fields & communities that want to mold you, your career &/or ministry in a certain way (for me the latter two are synonymous).
If I may submit to my leaders called to build, you don’t know it all 🙂. But God does. Trust Him to be omniscient. We see and know in part…do not make improper plays based on incomplete information.
Stand still on whatever He’s told you.
Last sharing, I was in conversation with a friend & explaining how I have MULTIPLE matters God has called me to handle & I am looking for the provision. It has to be there right…He called me to it?
While I was speaking, I heard, what’s in your hands? At that moment, it wasn’t anything but I heard “use what’s in your hands.” Subsequently, the Father gave instructions and ended with, BE IMMOVABLE once you’ve done what I asked.
Normally, I would not have transparently shared anything before it’s completed, but I know even if it’s just ONE that’s in the middle of something. Or in between opportunities or on the cusp of breakthrough. Wherever you land, go back to or get instruction from the Father. Then do it! But not just anyway, your landing needs to be:
*STRONG
*Enthusiastic
*Immovable
What we do for God is NEVER useless or wasted. Follow Him ❤️. I’ll be back to tell you all the success story. #Phillippians4:13
